Website Welcome to Tarheel Native Trees. We offer an exciting collection of plant material, including trees, shrubs, and vines. We pride ourselves on consistent quality and an extensive listing of uncommon plants. Common and reliable landscape plants can be found here as well. Primarily a wholesale nursery, we are open for retail sales by appointment only. Please call before visiting. Take the time to browse our plant catalog. We offer many rare and unusual grafted conifers and Japanese Maples, as well as some new offerings to the trade such as 'Kaleidoscope' Abelia and 'Daruma' Loropetalum, as well as our own introductions - Chionanthus virginicus 'Spring Fleecing' and Cryptomeria japonica 'Tarheel Blue'.

| Directions: From Raleigh: Take I-40 east to Exit 306 (Hwy 70 East) to Clayton. Continue on through Clayton towards Smithfield. You will pass Hwy. 42 to Wilson on the left. At the next stoplight turn right. This is Pony Farm Rd. Follow this road to a T-intersection. Turn left onto Little Creek Church Rd. Go 1 1/2 miles and turn right on Hood Farm Rd. Tarheel Native Trees is 1/2 mile on the right. From Virginia (I-95): Take I-95 south to Hwy. 42 at Wilson. Follow Hwy. 42 west to Hwy. 70 in Clayton. Turn left on Hwy. 70 and go to the next stoplight. Turn right. This is Pony Farm Rd. Follow this road to a T-intersection. Turn left onto Little Creek Church Rd. Go 1 1/2 miles and turn right on Hood Farm Rd. Tarheel Native Trees is 1/2 mile on the right.
